- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪My husband got throat cancer about 10 years ago; the first sign of it that we had was a lymph gland on his right side that swelled up to the size of a walnut. Dr. Papa (oncologist) was one of three doctors we worked with, on the recommendation of Dr. Gloor in N. Kingstown (general practice) who is very kind. The other two wonderful doctors were Dr. Steven Freedman in Middletown (ENT) and Dr. Philip Maddock in Warwick (radiologist). I would highly recommend all three of these doctors to anyone. All were caring, patient, and knowledgable. They and their staff treat all patients with respect and patience. My husband survived and is doing very well.
